A Life Focused on Healthy Alternatives

picture of Delila Olsson with a big smileSince 1984 I have been working in and around alternative education and holistic healthcare.  As a Montessori guide and peace educator for more than 20 years, I appreciate the holistic view of human development, which remains the common thread of my life and work today. In addition to my certification as a Montessori primary guide (1988, AMI 3-6), I am also a certified Infant Massage Instructor (2000, CIMI). Other titles for which I do not hold certification but for which I do have invaluable life experience, include mother, daughter, mentor, writer, volunteer and home based business owner, all of which bring me great joy and fulfillment. As a student of holistic health and wellness, I have completed numerous seminars and trainings on related topics over the past 20 years.

I started my first nutritional business, which featured one small line of supplements, in 1998.  From these humble beginnings has emerged a thriving online presence with many diverse offerings and a rapidly expanding customer base.  My goal is for each of my customers to be so satisfied with our offerings, that they happily refer friends to the site.

Many years spent working with young children afforded me the opportunity to learn several key life lessons that continue to guide me on my path:  the children taught me the value of honesty; they gently led me to a place of greater openness and authenticity; they reminded me to pay more attention to details; they effortlessly demonstrated the concept of unconditional love; and they proved to me that there is still hope for the future of humanity.

It is this hope for the future that fuels my passion to share healthy aging information, products and strategies.  I come from a belief that we are one human family, inextricably bound by the threads of our human experience.   My most idealistic of personal goals, then, is to be able to contribute in some way to the creation and sustainability of a more peaceful, cohesive world community.  I am humbled and gratified by the notion that I can make a living by making a difference.
